  • the world’s largest outdoor market selling goods from shoes and bags to souvenirs and customised passport holders
  • this is a unique shopping experience that you need to visit at least once!

why go?

  • get lost walking through the thousands of alley ways connecting the 15,000 stalls

when is it?

  • only open on the weekends, 9am – 6pm
  • some shops stay open a little later past 6pm if you’re running a bit late but it depends on when the owners want to go home!

Jodd Fairs Night Market

what is it?

  • the number one night market you do not want to miss whilst in bangkok!
  • this place is filled with the strangest tasting snacks, the best food and shopping!

why go?

  • favoured by locals and tourists alike, this market is a cool hangout spot with friends and family
  • grab a drink and enjoy the live music on most nights with their open air seating

Muay Thai Boxing at Rajadamnern Stadium in Bangkok

what is it?

  • one of the two main stadiums for muay thai boxing in bangkok
  • tickets vary from 3rd class to ring side – we personally thought 3rd class tickets had a good enough view!
  • prices range from 1000THB to 2500THB per person

why go?

  • the best place to watch muay thai for the first time
  • the atmosphere is amazing no matter how small or big the match is

when is it?

  • fights are held on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Sunday

  • anyone and everyone who is up for a night out!

Thai Cooking Class in Bangkok with a local

what is it?

  • a cooking class located in the heart of klong toey.
  • khun poo began this class over 5 years ago, when the price of rice doubled in 2007 and she could no longer make a living from selling food from her house.
  • visit a local wet market before the class begins to pick up fresh ingredients.

why go?

  • khun poo has grown up in the neighbourhood and will take you on a journey through a full cooking experience in her neighbourhood.
  • an experience with a local who will fully immerse you into home life in thailand.
  • to support an incredible local who found a new way of life when times were hard!

Sunsets at Mahanakhon SkyWalk

what is it?

  • an stunningly designed skyscraper with a unique glass floor experience at the height of 310 metres, looking down onto the bustling streets of bangkok.
  • tip: make sure to buy your tickets online beforehand as they’re much cheaper and you’ll skip the queues!

why go?

  • an exhilarating experience which we’ve never seen before, and it was worth every second!
  • head there 2 hours before sunset to be able to enjoy the skywalk before!

when is it?

  • every day 10am-midnight.
  • glass tray experience closes at 11.45pm.
  • the best time to go is around 3 or 4pm when golden hour is just about setting in.

  • an adventure seeker and literally anyone who’s a sucker for heights and gorgeous sunsets
