The bar has a laid-back atmosphere and is the perfect place to escape the crowds of Hoi An
It’s on the more expensive side but is worth it!

the place is beautiful and they do amazing cocktails
they also have a happy hour every evening and the staff are so welcoming!

There’s a happy hour here on beer and wine from 12-7pm every day!
If you’re heading down for dinner, make sure you book a river view table in advance!

Pool Parties In a Jungle @ Oasis

THAILAND

Pool parties at Oasis Koh Chang are announced on their Instagram (link below) so keep an eye on that!
For about £5, we were able to enjoy an unlimited BBQ spread with delicious sides and it was so fresh!
In addition to their amazing food, their cocktails are also incredible.
And if that’s not enough to convince you, they also boast the most incredible treehouse where you can climb up and witness the breathtaking sunset view!

M&M Guesthouse & Bar

This is primarily a guesthouse but also home to one of the most buzzing bars on the island.
The place is usually busy on weekends and they have great music, cocktails & atmosphere.
We loved how unassuming it was, a really island vibe kind of place!

They are busy all week as they have live music but especially buzzing on the weekends.
They serve western food but we love the place mainly for drinks & atmosphere!

one of the best beach bars on Koh Chang with great sunset views and a chilled vibe!
reasonably priced and great cocktails.
Don’t expect anything fancy, but especially on weekends their parties are awesome!

Tichuca Rooftop Bar

jungle themed rooftop bar, with incredible city views from the 46th floor.
beautiful sunsets from here and the night views are priceless.
slightly pricey, but definitely one of the best rooftop bars in bangkok.
we highly recommend the yuzu cocktail.

Honest Mistake Bar

A secret hidden bar with no sign fronted by a Chinese pawn shop.
Bribe your way in and head up to the 3rd floor into what feels like an underground secret casino.
Cocktails are a mix of Chinese and western and are approximately 340THB (£8).
A really unusual themed bar and one you’ll want to keep on coming back to..

The Key Room No.72

one of bangkok’s best kept secrets hidden behind room 72 in the josh hotel.
not everyone can enter, only those who hold the keycard. clue: you’ll find this somewhere in the reception.
a small and cosy themed bar with reasonably priced cocktails!

Alonetogether Bar Bangkok

one of bangkok’s coolest bars – where a lot of the locals hang out.
a beautiful dimly lit, two story speakeasy bar dedicated to cocktails, cigars and live jazz.
ground floor cocktail bar, 2nd floor doubles as a cigar lounge and a vinyl listening room.
live jazz, soul and funk performances 4 nights a week.

live jazz music performed by popular local bands every evening.

a cool secret pre-revolutionary 1940’s Cuban Cocktail Bar in Sukhumvit 11 hidden in a back alley in one of the busiest areas in bangkok.
serving up classic rum cocktails which really are delicious – the rum punch was our favourite.
this place really is something different in the city with latino music and the best vibes.

this place may not have a fancy complicated entrance but it’s charm comes from where it’s hidden.
walk down the residential street (you’ll never guess anything is down here) and look out for an unnamed door with flickering candle lights through frosted glass.
perfumed air hits you as soon as you open the doors and you’ll be completely transported out of the city.
no menu – tell the bartenders what you like, they’ll make something unique for you.

they’ve nailed the definition of speakeasy, and entering this bar is exactly how it should be.
we won’t give anything away, but make sure you locate the entrance and you’ll figure it out from there.

a beautiful speakeasy tucked away above a florist shop.
the low lit, fancy bar is the perfect escape from the city.
delicious cocktails based on the famous shakespeare play.
super expensive for thailand (around london prices).
but the cocktails are one of the best we have ever had!

summer does lanterns and deliciously wild and decadent on the planting
indoor spaces is al cabin in the woods come faded country house grandeur
we like it here most of all under a twinkly night sky and the cocktails are pretty spectacular too
