- it may seem strange to go to an Italian restaurant in Greece but it has to have been one of the best italians we have ever had

- this place is in Kolonaki (a super local neighbourhood) so most people you see are local regulars

- this is a real local hidden gem, it is basically a greek pub with a gorgeous courtyard and rooftop terrace
- the service is amazing but they get super packed, so make sure you book in advance
- the courtyard was our fav place to sit and we loved it so much we went back twice

- it is really hidden, so look carefully and when you open that door you will see what the fuss is all about
- we found this place after a lot of digging and research and apparently the locals hang out here in off season a lot
- food is super traditional, so take a punt and try as much as you can

- out of all the restaurants we have recommended, this is the most local
- no menu, just what the father and son cook fresh every morning
- they do not speak much english so be prepared wine is a mandatory on the table and gets brought out any time of the day

- this place had us addicted with their chicken fries box, the sauces are to die for
